About The Workshop

Macrame is among the oldest fiber arts. It cycles through trends and fashion every few generations. From tribal nomads to elegant Victorians, groovy hippies, and Instagram crafters, each has influenced the macrame landscape. This series of four workshops will provide you with the knotting skills necessary to develop your own macrame style. Sign up for one, or more.

Square Knots and Half Knots

The Square Knot creates the foundation of my macrame work. I use them to build sennets, mesh, buttons, and picots. Design and knot a wall hanging using only Square Knots and it's variations.

Thursday, Jan. 08, 2026, 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM

$55, materials included. Pay in person.
