Macrame Design

Learn, or re-learn, the macrame basics; square knots and double half hitches.  Review the elements of compelling design and begin to imagine how the cording can be manipulated to tell a story.   Design-wise, you may have a general idea of where you are headed, or maybe not.  Start with one idea at a time and let the story emerge.  You will be supported with timely techniques for measuring, mounting, adding, shaping and fringing.  Chatter and trade inspiration.

Choose your project format: 16" mandala, small 'prayer flags', a couple vases, or something completely your own.

Workshop Fee: $325

All materials and tools included. Lunch and snacks provided, too!
