Pine Needle Baskets

In this two-day workshop, you will immerse yourself in the lost art of Pine Needle Basketry.  Construct a functional or decorative basket using the nature that surrounds us for resources, inspiration and creative guidance. Explore basic and advanced stitching techniques, different creative forms, adding embellishments, and unique variations to begin and end a basket.  With the deep rooted history of basketmaking, we will honor tradition and time in the circle of creation.  Supplies included for two baskets.  

Workshop Fee: $250. 

All supplies provided.  Lunch and snacks provided.
