Macrame is among the oldest fiber arts. It cycles through trends and fashion every few generations. From tribal nomads to elegant Victorians, groovy hippies, and Instagram crafters, each has influenced the macrame landscape. This series of four workshops will provide you with the knotting skills necessary to develop your own macrame style.

Square Knots and Half Knots Workshop

The Square Knot creates the foundation of my macrame work. I use them to build sinnets, mesh, buttons, and picots. In this afternoon workshop you will design and knot a wall hanging using only Square Knots and its many variations.
